Participatory planning processes are often avoided due to the constraints of time or a fear of stakeholders’ inability to engage meaningfully and productively. 3P4S planning process is designed for a small team to plan a project or initiative in just a few hours.

In this full day session, you will learn how to energize and align your project team and stakeholders toward a common goal. You will be given the tools to successfully plan a project, initiative or event in the time it takes to have a regular staff meeting. When executed well, participatory planning approach engages everyone on the team in the methodical and structural way from information sharing and gathering to identifying implementation steps and responsibilities, while facilitating commitment and ownership.

Learning Objectives

  1. Walk away with an action planning tool for a small team to use in developing a high-level plan.
  2. Learn how to create a highly motivated team that’s willing to take action.
  3. Create a practical plan with ownership, timelines and measures.
