SOCIAL JUSTICE 101- ACKNOWLEDGING IDENTITY AND TAKING ACTION

So often we discuss social justice as a macro systematic issue and forget to also explore how social justice operates on an individual and interpersonal level. This workshop will use hands on activities to discuss the history of social justice movements and how we can take action today.
CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE LEARNING
Learning Objective 1: Attendees will be able to learn social justice and taking back power 101 principles.
Learning Objective 2: Attendees will be able to reflect on own organization’s work in social justice and any barriers that may exist.
Learning Objective 3: Attendees will be able to develop future strategies to develop a plan of action.
