Meant for More: Cultivating Profound Respect and Grace in Today’s Classrooms
Virtual Session
Learning Pathway: Human Element of Assessment
Our schools can no longer continue to be places where intentional design prevents some students from being able to thrive. We are sending our students into a world in which they need drastically different skills than what traditional schooling models have been able to develop. Educators can reshape today’s classrooms to be places that inspire confidence and lift our students (as well as our adults) to capitalize on their strengths and feel safe doing so. We cannot knowingly enable any of our classrooms to function beneath this level of profound respect and grace for our learners, and as such, teachers need realistic, can-do approaches for creating these conditions in their classrooms. This session will serve as a collection of processes, tools, and strategies for teachers and leaders to create high-performing modern classrooms in which students are seen, nurtured, and valued.
