[MINNEAPOLIS, MN, April, 2025] Beginning February 26, 2025, Fusion Learning Partners is providing association management services for the newly formed Western Regional Innovation & Technology Alliance (WRITA). Serving Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah, WRITA exists to foster Information Technology collaboration, determine strategic priorities, and support the shared goals of state and local government agencies within its member states.
Fusion will operate as WRITA’s operational partner, providing key services such as organization management and board governance support, financial management, membership services and engagement, event planning and management, and vendor partnership/sponsorship management. “Fusion is
thrilled to be supporting WRITA and its members,” said Fusion’s Chief Executive Officer, Mary Wynne. “For over 40 years our nonprofit organization has been serving government technology leaders with educational programming, professional events, and other resources and services that support our mission of inspiring innovation for the greater good. Helping WRITA achieve their mission compliments that work, and we are really looking forward to sharing all of our offerings and organizational management expertise with WRITA’s leaders and members.”
“Selecting the right organization to run the day-to-day operations of WRITA was deemed essential to delivering the full value envisioned by WRITA’s founding members,” said Scott Conn, CIO of Mesa, Arizona and founding board chair of WRITA. “After the selection committee scrutinized multiple, high-quality companies, it became clear that Fusion Learning Partners was the obvious and unanimous choice. The launch of WRITA has been a tremendous success and Fusion has been an integral partner and the primary engine that enabled that success.” WRITA offers its members an opportunity to share information and knowledge across jurisdictions and IT functions by offering multiple opportunities for online and in person collaboration and networking. In addition to a robust and interactive online community, WRITA will host in person conferences and events, recognition and awards, discounts on professional development and training, education on legislative/policy issues, vendor price leveraging, emergency response and crisis support, and cooperative partnerships.
